Sheri's Story
School
My very 1st Boyfriend in Kindergarten (yep, that's what I said) was BRIAN ECKEBERGER from Richardson Heights Elementary, then in 4th grade I trans. to Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Elem. and there was one special person there but he isn't with us any longer; it was GARY ROBINSON. I knew him from the middle of 4th grade through High School graduation and he was a great guy when I knew him so that is the GARY I remember.
My Mother re-married and we moved to Colorado for the summer and when I came back to Dallas we moved into the Walnut Hill Elem. district. Those of you that went to Walnut Hill Elementary; I came there in the 7th grade and Mr. Laws made me put my desk by his because he said I couldn't concentrate. He had a meeting with my Mother and told her I was to...Expand for more
o boy crazy and that is why I had to sit by his desk, so I would do my work. I think that was the case a lot of times in my school years. If I named names then I'd leave someone out and, oh well you know the rest of the story.
The teacher that inspired me the most was Mr. Kramer who taught Plastics Shop during my Senior year. He always knew when I was struggling with school or in my personal life and would get me to talk and of course he'd listen. There were always words of encouragement from Mr. Kramer.
I would do it over again just so that I would put my head into actually "trying" in school and studying to see just how well I could do. I am so opposite of how I was then, I just realized it all a little too late. But you know the saying, Better Late Than Never!!
